On an early winter morning, Station 5 was dispatched to a possible structure fire on Monmouth Avenue in Port Monmouth. Engine 151 called in service first followed by E150. While units were in route to Port Monmouth headquarters received another call from the reporting party and told them that the fire was on Monmouth Avenue in the Leonardo section of town. At that time the fire chief in route to the call redirected all in-service apparatus to Monmouth Avenue in Leonardo. Engine 151 was the second truck on scene. Due to a power wire burning off the house and landing on the first truck on scene Engine 151 became the number 1 attack truck during the whole fire. Stations 2,3,4,6,7 also responded to this fire.Monmouth Ave, Leonardo
